SUMMER CAMPS 2008

In addition to regular weekly lessons, TCI also has several camps throughout the year. There is a Christmas Performance camp, and a March break/Easter camp, as well as several mini-camps.

These are all for existing students of TCI, but the main camp, and one that is open to all, both students and non-students is the Summer Performance Camp, which in 2006 held two great shows at the Yuen Long Theatre.

The camp is of a professional setting and standard to enable each student to experience the process of being a part of such a performance. The benefit of the extended camp atmosphere involves not only the musical and performance aspects, but is an all-round training.

Students enhance their presentation, leadership, and communication skills.

Working together in a group promotes team spirit. Achievements present different challenges for each student to handle and learn from. Students are proud of their achievements in coping with the pressure and stress in creating and perfecting their own performances. Most of all your child will have the opportunity to explore and focus upon new paths of creativity in the performing arts. Instilling a sense of discipline, responsibility and dedication to help build up your child’s self esteem and self confidence!
